Mary is a 35-year member of the PGA of America. Her professional career began as an Assistant Golf Professional at Winchester Country Club. She has served as Head Golf Professional at Salem Country Club and The International as well as the Director of Golf at Salem Country Club. A native of Melrose, Mary is a graduate of Melrose High School and the College of William and Mary where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. While at William and Mary, she captained the College’s first National Championship team and remains the winningest golfer in the College’s history. Mary is a member of the Melrose High School Athletic Hall of Fame and the William and Mary Athletic Hall of Fame where she was elected twice – as both an individual and Championship team member. The achievement she is most proud of however is the Spencer/Wilkinson Scholarship Fund founded with her teammate and longtime friend Debra Spencer. Established in 1996 and administered by the Virginia State Golf Association, the scholarship has assisted over sixty young women in their pursuit of higher education. Mary joined the team at Four Oaks Country Club in 2012 and currently serves as both an Assistant Golf Professional and the Business Office Manager.
